Role Description
The candidate will be responsible for optimizing the Client’s financial and operational processes, managing the monitoring of cloud expenses, with focus on cost optimization and financial transparency. Will propose solutions necessary to reduce the economic impact of the Client’s infrastructure. Ability to produce POC to implement actions necessary to optimize the infructure. Will be the point person between IT, finance, operations teams and offer insights to development teams to adapt code to a cloud-native infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities
- POC implementation.
- Monitoring and recording.
- Collaborate with finance and technical teams to establish budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze cloud expenses and develop cost reduction strategies.
- Implement cost control tools and processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and pricing models.
- Experience with IT financial management tools (CloudHealth, Apptio).
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of management accounting and budget control.
- Deep knowledge of services and tools available for resource optimization on cloud platforms.
Previous Experience
- Experience in FinOps, cost management or financial consulting in IT.
- Experience with pricing models and Cloud cost analysis.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Computer Science or related. FinOps or Cloud certifications are a plus.
